Random quote idea

For some reason, whilst driving around 72 and sunny Los Angeles this morning, the following quote occurred to me. I think it would be funny for Pedro to say it.

Paraphrasing Casablanca:

Pedro, "Of all the taco joints in all the towns in all the world, she walks into mine."

In other news, I'm still mulling over mp3 blog names. And ideas. I don't want to have a music geek's blog for music geeks. I want to introduce great songs to my friends, and I don't care if the
blogosphere' has or has not embraced the band. It doesn't matter if my mp3s are 'cool'.

But I do want the site to have some kind of hook.

Who out there got a 'Fly Away' OST back in 1999? If you didn't this is what i did. Cue: Flashback:

Back when burning CDs was a really new thing, I decided to make a Pulp Fiction-like soundtrack complete with quotes from the movie. The movie was 'Fly Away'. Of course, there was no 'Fly Away' movie. So, I just randomly made up my own quotes and had friends record them. (Best quote is a tie between Dave Emmitte's drawl heavy, "I'll fight for her til hell freezes over, and then I'll fight on ice" and our Japanese foreign ad exchange guy, Taichi, saying, "Don't pick at your wounded soul.")

I'm thinking of adding similar quotes to the front or back of the mp3s I put up. Or combine a pre-existing quote with a song. Back in mix-*tape* days, I made a mixtape with the Pulp Fiction quote, "Great vengeance and furious anger, those ..." in front of the Stone Roses' "Love Spreads". Sounded like they were made for each other.

Off to the Gator-Criminoles game at the local bar/cafe.
