I had heard a rumour among studio types out here that the short story

?Brokeback Mountain¹ by Annie Proulx was based on the true life story of

Chuck Norris.



And that this whole ?Chuck Norris facts¹ thing is a targeted effort by a

PR/viral marketing firm to make sure that Chuck Norris¹ manliness (and

therefore heterosexuality) were never in question. The PR firm is the same

company that Tom Cruise uses.
